Where it started

A question nobody answers honestly

Ask a woman what she thinks about while she gets dressed and she will say nothing. Ask her what she does, and the answer comes out: the dress put back on the hanger, the arm folded across the middle, the bag held in front on every photo, the strap checked in the bathroom mirror. Not one of those is about how she looks. All of them are about what she is thinking.

What we found

The fix was making it worse

Shapewear that rolls down by ten in the evening. A waistband that prints through the dress it was bought to smooth. A push-up whose wire digs in by lunchtime and whose padding shows through a plain t-shirt. Women had already paid for the solution, and the solution had handed them three new things to think about.

Rise is everything that lifts. Shape is everything that smooths. We do not make a catalogue, we make answers to the two parts women actually tell us about. A piece only ships if it passes one test: you put it on, and by the first drink you have forgotten it is there. If we cannot get there, it does not go on sale.

No before-and-after that promises a different body. No number of inches lost. No word that suggests you need fixing. We sell the evening back, not a new silhouette. If a page of ours ever makes you feel worse about your body than before you opened it, we have failed, and we want to hear about it.
